The Game Boy SP is a repackaging of the Game Boy Advance hardware in new casing. The new design features a flip-up screen, and a sleeker feel. Added features include an integrated back light and a rechargable lithium-ion battery.Game Boy Advance Movie Player

The new battery can last for up to ten hours of continuous play with the light on, or eighteen hours without. It takes about three hours to fully recharge it.

The Game Boy Advance SP, like the original GBA, can still play original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
